If you feel tired just after eating lunch, (the 2 o'clock slump), you are probably eating too much refined/processed carbohydrates. Try and eat more complex carbs, and add more protein and fibre to your meal.

I have been working with Simon for about 4 years now. I am an Olympic class sailor and over the years my fitness goals have changed, Simon has helped me change my training to suit them. Initially we were involved in a weight reduction program as the sport of sailing is very weight critical. Starting at 71kg I worked down to 65kg using a combination of training and diet.
Also prior to working with Simon I had suffered with back pain which was fixed by implementing a core strength program into my normal training regime. Simon has supported me during this time, going to extreme lengths to get me to follow the program, 6am morning starts have been common.
This year whilst sailing at the fireball world championships I injured my shoulder so during the rest day Simon worked hard with sports massage and manipulation, combined with some stretching. I suffered the next day but it was good enough and by the last day the shoulder was fine enabling me and my crew to win the racing and gain 3rd place in the championships.
As I get older I will continue to use the methods of training that Simon has shown me and he will be the first person I will call for preventative and specific training.
